Hestia symbolizes the ability to hold all experiences, emotions, and forces. Hermes is the force of change that powers the mind, digestion, and intuition. Plants--and your own 'plant body'--are a living example of their balance.
In this 5-hour experiential workshop we will move through various activities and methods of reflection; working as a group, in pairs, and individually. The rural setting will allow for direct interactions with the elements, plants, and animals.
Activities will include:
- Multiple guided meditation experiences, including "Heart Fire - Pelvic Fire" breathing, the experience of your Mineral / Plant / Animal bodies, and different frames of connection to the "ground" of Reality.
- Individualized astrological exploration of 30 year cycles of your life, guided by the position of the Sun and Moon at your birth.
- The basics of plant communication.
- Opportunities for optional reflection, sharing, and art-making.

Would you like to use the stories of your life to power change?
- Hestian and Hermetic forces are foundational to our bodies and the natural world.
- The ability to ‘hold all ground’ in your body--specifically in your pelvic bowl and your heart--can turn your life experience into the fuel for transformation. The key is to practice the muscle of staying open to the sensations of the present, an action that allows spontaneous and healing solutions to surface. We will explore the experience of keeping your mind curious rather than controlling, thereby powering your digestion of life events and opening yourself up to inner wisdom.
Would you like to explicitly connect with plants?
- Remaining open and curious means sinking into the part of your nervous system that is connected to your plant body.
- One way to practice this skill is to meaningfully connect with actual plants.
- In this workshop we will work with plants to help us gain space from the "animal" parts of our nervous systems that are seeking immediate solutions; we will connect more deeply to the "rooted" parts of ourselves.
Thank you for reading and considering. And as always, please reach out with any questions.
